GLORIA FOLKLER, CURRICULUM SPECIALIST (ENGLISH)
Gloria holds a Bachelor of Science in Education (specialised in Sciences & Reading) from Central Michigan University and has almost 30 years of combined experience in the education industry, both locally and overseas. Her extensive work experience includes conducting private tutorial services for students with learning disabilities and being an Early Childhood Educator since 1994. She has also facilitated social learning for students with autistic and ADHD disabilities in her stint in Singapore, on top of designing and developing yearly curricula for childcare centres in Singapore from 1997 to 2001.Gloria was also a recipient of the Dean’s list in Central Michigan University. She served as the President of the Lansing Community College Future Teachers’ Club and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society in 2007.
LI NIAN, CURRICULUM SPECIALIST (CHINESE)
Li Nian was a lecturer at Learning Capital College for 6 years before moving over to Learning Horizon. She holds a Master in Early Childhood Education and a Doctor of Education from Beijing Normal University. She has extensive experience working in child care settings and has held posts as Teacher and Head of Department both in China and Singapore before moving into the field of lecturing in Early Childhood Education.
ANNA WU, SENIOR TEACHER
Anna is an experienced and passionate early childhood teacher who provides ample opportunities for children to experience new challenges, cooperative ventures and projects. She is a registered teacher and holds a full membership with the New Zealand Teachers Council. She has a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Childhood from University of Otago College of Education. She is equipped with cross-cultural professional experience in early childhood having taught locally and overseas.
MYLA GOTIS, TEACHER
Myla is a dynamic teacher who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art studies and is completing her Masters of Arts in Teaching in the Early Grades (pending thesis) from the University of the Philippines. She joined the industry in 2003 working with children with special needs. She is a patient and caring individual who brings vibrancy to her classes.
LI BAI QING, TEACHER
Ms Li is a native mandarin speaker who holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching from KLC School of Education, Singapore. Having being in Singapore for the past 12 years as well as teaching preschoolers since 1998, her experience in handling young children will be a good addition to the family.
ARNIZAH ABAS, TEACHER
For the past 9 years, Arnizah has been an educator for children aged four to sixteen. She has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She found her passion for teaching and thus went on to take a Diploma in Preschool Education from Learning Capital College. She then went on further to take on a Diploma in Educational Studies from GIG Education Centre. Arnizah is a motivated individual who takes great pride in her assignments.
