
Kidz Dance - Junior Ballet Programme
EVANGELINE CHONG took her first dance steps at the age of eight. She has studied Chinese classical and folk dances, Classical ballet, Modern and Jazz with many local and overseas Artists. Her passion and enthusiasm for dance have seen her through many years of training and the results have paid off. She has performed in many local events like the National Day Parade, Chingay Festival, and the Singapore Arts Festival. She has performed with dance groups like the Dance Ensemble of Singapore as well as the People’s Association Culture Dance Group.
Evangeline has more than 10 years of teaching experience under her belt. She holds Chinese Dance Graded Examination Teaching certificates from the Beijing Dance Academy, Teaching Certificates from the Dance Ensemble of Singapore and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Her passion to bring dance training to the young drove her to pursue a Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) with Kinderland Learning Centre. She is currently an Affiliate Member of the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) and is working towards a Teaching Certificate in CSTD Ballet.
CONNIE BAN had her fundamental training in Ballet, Chinese Cultural, Modern Dance, Jazz, Wushu and gymnastics. She has 15 years experience in dance and performance training under the guidance of Mr Low Ee Chiang. During the time, Connie has also had the opportunity to participated in various Singapore Youth Festivals and National Day Parade performances.
Connie is a Team leader and Dance Instructor in Dance Inspiration, a creative group of Buona Vista Community Centre, founded by Mr Low Ee Chiang. She has been part of the management committee for the last 8 years assisting Mr Low in coordinating, training, and reorganizing dance items for classes and performances.
She is currently teaching Chinese Dance and Ballet in Community Clubs as well as in Primary Schools.
