
Chinese Cultural Appreciation
WANG CHUN YAN is a native Chinese with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Shenyang Polytechnic University. She is an experienced teacher who has been teaching pre-schoolers for more than 6 years. She has knowledge in speech & drama and conducts lively classes for her young charges. She enjoys good relations with both her parents and students. With her rich experience in childcare and strong interest in speech & drama, she has shown great aptitude in teaching speech & drama to young children.
LIN HONG is a native Mandarin speaker. She holds a Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care &Development and a Diploma in Chinese Language Teaching. She was also trained with a certificate in Drama Game & Movement.
Since 2005, she has worked in numerous childcare centers around Singapore teaching both language and speech and drama.
Her years of experience and knowledge are evident in her classes. But most of all, it is her love for children that makes her a valuable addition to the Learning Horizon team..
CHEN BING holds a Certificate in Pre-school Teaching from Learning Capital School of Early Childhood Education. She has worked in various Language Centers and Preschools around Singapore. She has been teaching Chinese Enrichment program like MSD and HYPY in Learning Horizon since 2007.
She enjoys working with children and is very animated and creative in her teaching style.
LIN MIN YI is a native Mandarin speaker. During her time here she has been teaching in major language schools around the island. Liu specializes in lower primary levels as well in pre-school enrichment courses. She is familiar with the guidelines set down by the Ministry of Education and is well versed in the methodology of teaching preschool children. She is very patient with child and creative in her teaching style.
XU JING is a native Mandarin speaker. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood (teaching) with years of teaching experience in local childcare centers.
Diligent, patient, studious nature and dedication are her greatest strengths. Beside Chinese, she is comfortable in communicating with the children in English fluently. Her bilingual background allows her understand children better and conduct lessons more effectively. She is also good at bringing out children's language talents.
HU JING YUN was the language teacher in YMCA childcare Center. She is a native Mandarin speaker with a wealth of experience in teaching Chinese and cultural program like Chinese calligraphy to primary and preschool students. She holds a degree from China in Business Administration. With her rich experience in childcare and strong interest in Chinese culture and arts, she has shown great aptitude in teaching cultural program to young children.
LIU LI is a native Chinese who graduated from Hubei Normal University with a degree in professional Chinese teaching. She taught Chinese in primary school in China for over ten years. She came to Singapore in 2005, and is currently conducting courses in Han language center.
LI PING is a native Mandarin speaker who originates from China, and holds a degree from Xi’an Jiaotiong University. She was a lecturer in Jiangsu Polytechnic University before she came to Singapore in 2005. Since then, she has worked in numerous primary schools and childcare centers around Singapore teaching both language and cultural program.
Her teaching experience coupled with her natural love for children especially from a mother's point of view, has made the children enjoy and benefit from her class.
HUANG JING
was a secondary school teacher in China before she came to Singapore in 1998. She has been teaching Mandarin enrichment program in various primary schools around the island like Catholic High, Anderson, Holy Innocent, PLMGS, and Poi Qing. She is a responsible individual with a passion for teaching and a love for children.
WANG CHUN XIA holds a Certificate in Pre-school Teaching from Learning Capital School of Early Childhood Education. Currently she is the language teacher and Chinese speech and drama trainer in Cheries Heart Childcare Center. Her experience in teaching both language classes as well as conducting Speech & Drama programs means that she comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
LI JIE is a native Mandarin speaker. She holds s diploma with specialized study in Primary School Education at Jiangsu Radio and Television University. She’s now pursuing her Diploma in Business Management in local business school.
She was language teacher in Chapter One Language School specialized on preschool and lower primary students since she came to Singapore in 2007, and she was the Mandarin and Speech trainer in Learning Horizon in 2008.
She is young and energetic, has a likeable character and communicates well with both parents and students. She is patient with children. With her background training and teaching experience for lower primary and preschool classes, she will be a suitable teacher for this class.
